Its gonna be legendary, ya'll aren't ready... like ya'll really ain't ready for this...

This post is gonna sound random and even I don't quite know where it came from but I woke up from a nap today where something interesting happened. I had this strange dream that I went to a friend's house and he had a prototype build of Jet Set Radio Fan game he was working on and we started brainstorming on ideas to put into it. I took over the art and design department and handling concepts and he would just build it into this dope ass 3D cel-shaded world. I was on some designer shit with the character's clothes and style I basically took my favorite clothing brands and meshed them with JSR logos and it looked ill. We made it an open world that was not only vertical but underground as well. I dunno it was a strange dream considering I haven't played the game in forever but now I dunno I might play around with some concepts for it, so don't be surprised if you start seeing some stuff pop up on here for it.  

The Patience of a Saint
Alright first and foremost let me put this out there right quick, I had been using a Compaq circa 2009 vista laptop for a grip. Even tho most people hated Vista I honestly preferred it to Windows 7. I'm not really into the whole "wham wham look at these fuckin slick touch screen-esqe features B!" thing. I just like simple interfaces with easy file management none of that extra shit. So I stuck with my laptop for a minute then it slowly started having hardware issues. 1st the Disc drive stopped working randomly one day and I just shrugged and said "Oh well I'll just use my other laptop for burning shit, no biggie" then one day a small screw went missing in one of the corners where the charge port was I said "Eh, no biggie I'll just ya know drop another screw in it, no biggie" then the plastic that housed the screw broke and pieces started getting stuck in the fan making it over heat sometimes so I said "Fuck it I'll just vacuum out the debris, no biggie" all was well for a minute UNTIL the battery stopped holding a charge so I said "fuck it I don't take it no where anyways I'll just leave it plugged in, no biggie" then the port got damaged and was loose which wasn't a big deal at all UNTIL the place where the screw was housed broke completely so I just said "fuck it, I got electrical tape no biggie" it held out fine tile one day it fell while open and the entire keyboard part started popping up and wouldn't stay down so I said "fuck it, bring on more duct tape" most of these tape jobs would last about 4 months or so before wearing out and getting all sticky and slimy on me so I would have to swap the tape out periodically. Then about 4 months ago the screen part came loose so I said "Well shit...bring on more tape I guess" now the screen itself had been acting up for a while prior to this with it randomly turning black when moved or flickering ya know shit like that. Then one day mid last month the damn screen just killed over on me completely... now everything else still runs in it and all my files are still in tact I just gotta transfer em over to my new laptop, only thing is now I gotta get another copy of photoshop. Right now I'm using that bootleg Mobile CS6 to get by until I can get my hands on the complete PC version.

Everything is still being worked on albeit slowly (at least on my end) CVS3 is still being tweaked EnlightendShadow is kinda picking up my work load til I can get back in it at 100% so bare with us. I got more Covers on the way, still sorta outta the loop on some things but I'm trying to get back at it. I'm still planning out some Marvel vs Capcom shit and maybe some Darkstalkers shit as well (but don't tell nobody) stay tuned for more announcements in the near future.
 

Haven't been on DA in a minute, so I know some people are kinda wondering where I've been n shit like that. Well the short answer is I've been occupied with school and work. When I'm not grinding out 40+ ours at work every week, I'm fighting to stay awake in class so I can graduate on time (with a dash of partying here and there). But enough boring trivial life issues whats good with those updates Bruh?
Capcom vs SNK 3 project... yeah its still in the works
I won't really go into details about whats happening with the project but I promise you guys it's being worked on. I know some Mugen-heads out there are wondering where the updates are at or whats going on with what or wheres this or that at, rest assured it's being worked on. I actually been sitting on top of a bunch of portraits that I haven't released yet, I haven't put them out yet simply because I wanna make sure everything looks consistent first. I got kinda tired of rushing out portraits just to go back and update the standard of them and re-tweaking everything. I plan on releasing them pack by pack once everything is done. A lot of dope character releases have been happening rapidly lately so I'm trying my best to keep up with em all.
Covers
I'm trying to get back on my cover hustle, I really am but I'm out of the loop on it a bit. I haven't made any actual covers since like November due to me being busy, plus a lot of dope cover artist have been putting out good shit so I haven't felt the actual need to make covers, but I dunno hopefully after finals I'll have more time to sit down and make cover art again, but I promise this hiatus is merely temporary.
Other things...
I designed a bunch of board graphics a while back I might upload those if I get a minute of free time.

I've been working on the HG updates all week so I figured I'd post a quick comparison of the old ports I made vs the new ones, Ken still needs a little work with the hair but it's done for the most part
